If you can’t actually be in Paris, the next best thing is to be there in spirit and that’s what St. John’s University’s Division of Student Affairs and The McCallen Society offered a sampling of Parisian life on Wednesday, April 26, with an “Evening in Paris.”

Celebrating 50 Years of Excellence, President’s Society Inducts Outstanding Students
Marking a half-century tradition of excellence and leadership, a select group of 20 St. John’s students was inducted into the University’s President’s Society on April 22 during the 50th Anniversary celebration that began with Mass in St. Thomas More Church and culminated with a ceremony and dinner in Taffner Field House, on the Queens, NY, campus.
Janet DiFiore '81 to Speak at St. John’s Law Commencement
Hon. Janet DiFiore, Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals and the State of New York, will be the Law School’s commencement speaker and will receive an honorary Doctor of Laws on Sunday, June 4, 2017.
English Ph.D. Graduates Land Tenure-Track Positions
Five recent graduates of the Ph.D. program in English have already secured coveted tenure-track positions in the field.
