Paul Desmarais, Associate Director for Online Learning and Services at St. John’s University, recently completed an innovative online learning leadership development program cosponsored by the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) and The Pennsylvania State University. The Institute for Emerging Leadership in Online Learning (IELOL) is a comprehensive professional development program for new and aspiring online learning leaders in higher education. Participants in the program are selected via a competitive application process. The four-part program is offered in a blended learning format over a five-month period and culminates in an online learning leadership master class at the annual OLC Accelerate Conference. Congratulations to Paul on completing this unique and prestigious program!
