St. Thomas More Church Featured by NET-TV on “City of Churches”

St. Thomas More Church, the spiritual center of St. John’s University’s Queens campus, was featured on NET-TV’s Emmy Award-winning series, City of Churches. 

 Julia Upton, RSM, Ph.D., distinguished professor of theology and former provost, sat down with host Anthony Mangano to explore the history and the importance of St. Thomas More Church, which opened its doors in 2004.  Dr. Upton walks Mr. Mangano through the planning, construction and dedication of the Church, and highlights the beauty of several important features including the stained glass windows and the history of the Vincentians as told through the mosaics in the narthex.
