Reporter Ruschell Boone Watches and Analyzes VP Debate with SJU Students

NY1 News reporter, Ruschell Boone, visited the Queens campus on October 4 to join St. John's students in watching the Vice Presidential Debate. The debate watch party, which was sponored by St. John's PARTICIPATE Initiative, took place in the Sodano Coffee House where students gathered to discuss politics before and after watching Tim Kaine and Mike Pence debate the issues.
Boone spoke with several students throughout the evening to get their opinions on the campaign and also interviewed Brian Browne, Executive Director of University Relations, about the political engagement of the students at St. John's.
