- Tuition Exchange Program Applications for 2027–28 Due November 1
St. John’s University participates in the Tuition Exchange program, a consortium of colleges and universities that offer competitive tuition scholarships to eligible employees’ dependent children and legal dependents for undergraduate study. The program expands educational opportunities beyond the University’s tuition remission benefit, allowing eligible students to be considered for scholarships at participating institutions.
Employees with students who are interested in applying for Tuition Exchange for the first time for the 2027–28 academic year should be aware that the application deadline is November 1, 2026.
Please note that this deadline applies to new applicants. Students who are already participating in the Tuition Exchange program and are continuing to receive a Tuition Exchange scholarship do not need to submit a new application each year.
To learn more about eligibility, program requirements, and participating institutions, please visit
- The Tuition Exchange website
- The University’s Tuition Exchange Program Policy (for administrator and staff eligibility)
- The Faculty Handbook (for faculty eligibility).
Tuition Exchange scholarships are competitive and are awarded by the receiving institution. Eligibility through St. John’s University and admission to a participating institution do not guarantee receipt of a Tuition Exchange scholarship. Contact Keaton Wong, J.D., Associate Vice President for Human Resources, at [email protected] with any questions about the Tuition Exchange program.
