Tobin College of Business' Finance faculty are now accepting undergraduate applications for the popular Student Managed Investment Fund which requires faculty-approved registration in two classes; Fall 2026's FIN 4327 Managing Investment Funds I and Spring 2027's FIN 4328 Managing Investment Funds II.
More than 500 colleges and universities across the country sponsor student-managed investment funds. With combined assets of more than $13 million, St. John’s is the 15th most lucrative student-managed fund in the nation, according to The Center for Investment Research.
Application review may not begin until after the April 17 deadline as decisions on class admittance may be deferred until program directors may consider final grades from student's current (Spring 2026) courses. As a result, final decisions may not be made until May (for the fall semester).
