As part of the celebration of 100 years of business education at St. John’s University, The Peter J. Tobin College of Business invites the St. John’s community to a special fireside chat with Lloyd Blankfein, former Chairman and CEO of Goldman Sachs.
Blankfein spent more than three decades at Goldman Sachs, ultimately serving as Chairman and CEO and leading the firm through some of the most consequential years in modern finance. He will visit St. John’s to share insights from his career, leadership experiences, and remarkable journey to the top of Wall Street.

Blankfein will join James P. Riley Jr. ’74CBA, ’75MBA, ’03HON for a fireside chat exploring his career, leadership, Wall Street, and the experiences that shaped his path.
Riley, President of the Riley Family Foundation and CEO of Riley Trading, enjoyed a long career at Goldman Sachs, retiring in 2001 as Partner and Managing Director. A dedicated supporter of St. John’s, he helps deserving young people access the same educational opportunities that helped shape his own career.
