St. John's University students are invited to a new seminar series which shares the career paths of our faculty, in hopes of encouraging current student to consider careers in teaching and research. The inaugural seminar will be delivered by Dr. Joan Ball, professor of marketing at the Peter J. Tobin College of Business on Monday, September 29, 2025 at 1:50pm in Tobin's Room 211. (RSVP requested) If inspired to learn more, students will be asked to apply for membership in the Future Faculty cohort and be invited to a November weekend retreat.
The Future Faculty Program (FFP) is a unique, on-campus experience that introduces students to the exciting career opportunities as Business School faculty. While it is hosted by Tobin, the program is open to all St John's Students. Students gain research opportunities (with paid compensation for eligible students), mentorship, assistance with graduate school applications, networking opportunities, and more!
