- Faculty to Present at Conference
St. John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences faculty members Kelly DelGaizo, Ed.D., Professor, Communication Studies; Roberta Hayes, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Department of Core Studies; and Michael Zheng, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Core Studies, will present “Virtual Exchange Success (and Stumbles!) Stories Across Modalities” at the online American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) Conference on Global Learning on Friday, November 14, from noon to 1 p.m. Eastern time. The professors represent different disciplines (i.e., communication, biology, and physics) and will discuss collaborative technology for working across time zones; ways for students to analyze real-life world issues while building empathy and global awareness; and how St. John’s Global Online Learning Exchange (GOLE) program has worked in science and communication courses.
