- Dean Maciek Nowak Selected President of Northeast Business Deans Association

Toronto - At the October meeting of the AACSB International's Business Dean's Conference, Dr. Maciek Nowak was selected to serve as the President of the regional Northeast Business Dean's Association (NEBDA). Nowak serves as the Joseph H. and Maria C. Schwartz Distinguished Chair and Dean of the Peter J. Tobin College of Business at St. John’s University. Nowak will follow Mark Frascatore of Niagara University in leading NEBDA.
NEBDA is the regional association of collegiate business programs offered by colleges and universities in the northeast United States and eastern Canada. The Association is affiliated with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) but operates independently. NEBDA meets once a year in the fall, with their 2024 NEBDA meeting previously hosted at St. John's University.
"It is a great honor to be selected to serve in this role," shared Dr. Nowak. "When I arrived at St. John's in 2023, NEBDA was a critical support structure and a great way to witness the incredible work being done amongst business colleges. I hope that in my new role, I can be part of that support system for my colleagues across this array of impressive institutions."
