Learn more about robots and the research conducted on their use in our society at a special Zoom presentation on February 4 at 1 p.m. EST. The talk will be moderated by Patrick C. K. Hung, Ph.D., Professor and Director of International Programs at Ontario Tech University, and is sponsored by faculty from the graduate program in Cyber and Information Security in The Lesley H. and William L. Collins College of Professional Studies.
The presentation will focus on the concept of robots and other autonomous constructions that are found in many different cultures dating back to ancient times. Dr. Hung also plans to discuss the privacy research issues involved with social robots and present two case studies from Canada and Brazil.
