University Senate

The University Senate is a body of faculty, students, and administrators charged with legislative authority over university-wide educational policy.  The Senate is primarily responsible for the formulation of educational policy of the University relating to: curriculum matters affecting more than one school; the admission, retention and graduation of students; student activities and student discipline. Its standing committees include Educational Programs and Development; Faculty Affairs; Students Affairs; Bylaws; and Budget.
