GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decade)

About GOLD

Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) is an affinity group open to all alumni who have graduated from St. John’s University within the last ten years. GOLD serves as an outlet for recent graduates to connect in an environment that fosters career advancement, network expansion, and philanthropic awareness.

MISSION

To build a community of recent St. John’s alumni by creating a welcoming environment to share ideas and experiences that add value beyond our time as students. We help guide the transition between college and career through professional networking, social programming, and service opportunities.

VISION

GOLD strives to foster a sense of belonging, purpose, and pride in alma mater. We aim to serve as a resource for all recent alumni with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and career paths in their continued personal and professional growth. GOLD aspires to be the foundation for a lifelong relationship between recent alumni and St. John’s University.

October 30 - 28th Annual President's Dinner

Since its inception in 1998, the Annual President’s Dinner has been a celebration of what makes St. John’s University unique – the vibrant combination of scholarship and service. For more than 150 years, the University has been “faithful to the mission,” committed to extending the opportunity for a superior academic education to deserving students regardless of their socioeconomic backgrounds. Funds raised from the President’s Dinner are used to support scholarship assistance for students who, because of economic burdens, might otherwise be unable to realize their dream of a St. John’s education. In the past 27 years, the President’s Dinner has raised more than $59 million in scholarship support for St. John’s students.

Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) members are invited to attend the dinner at a discounted ticket rate.
