- Advent Season Begins
Beginning Sunday, December 1, the Catholic Church celebrates the start of a new liturgical year during the season of Advent. Our banner outside of St. Thomas More Church reminds us that in this season, we are “waiting in hope” for Christmas. The journey of our “anticipation” of the incarnation of God entering into humanity is marked by this four-week period of waiting and preparation.
