Student Conduct

The Office of Student Conduct strives to instill the University’s Core Values—Truth, Love, Respect, Opportunity, Excellence, and Service—and to encourage the development of character and fortitude to live by these values.

The Student Conduct Process is designed to resolve instances of alleged violations of University policies and regulations, and to investigate matters of student conduct in a manner that reflects the Vincentian tradition and the educational mission of St. John's University.

The Student Code of Conduct is a list of behaviors that do not meet the expectations of a student at St. John's University, and are subject to disciplinary action. When students are accused of a violation of the Code, the Student Conduct Process is used to determine if a violation occurred and what the appropriate consequences should be.

Students have rights, as do their parents and guardians. We hope that parents and guardians will support their students if they are charged with a Code violation, and to conduct themselves in a manner consistent with the expectations of all members of the St. John’s University community.

We provide our students with the education, training and support they need to meet the present and future demands professionals encounter, whether as health care practitioners or as researchers in the basic and applied sciences.

The College facilitates and advances scholarship by offering innovative programs of study utilizing active learning approaches that are student-oriented and that inspire lifelong learning.  Our programs in Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Pharmacy, Radiologic Sciences, and Toxicology stress hands-on experiences with laboratories and experiential learning at renowned institutions that allow our graduates to seamlessly transition into rewarding careers in the health professions and sciences.

As compassionate health care professionals and scientists, we serve humanity through our dedication to excellence in the provision of health care and biomedical research. Building on a commitment to cultural diversity and benefitting from our metropolitan location and strategic alliances, we strive to serve as effective leaders, good citizens, and moral and ethical individuals.
