Honoring

Tricia Griffith
President and Chief Executive Officer
The Progressive Corporation

Thursday, April 7, 2022  RESCHEDULED DATE
New York Marriott Marquis
1535 Broadway, New York, NY 10036
6 p.m. Cocktail Reception | 7:30 p.m. Dinner

Given recent developments with COVID-19, the Insurance Leader of the Year Dinner scheduled for Wednesday, January 19, 2022 has been postponed. The health and safety of all those attending is of the utmost importance to the Greenberg School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science. We share any disappointment but are happy to announce that we are rescheduling for Thursday, April 7, 2022, at The New York Marriott Marquis.

As of December 27, 2021, New York City guidelines require everyone to show proof of two COVID-19 vaccine doses – as opposed to one dose under the prior policy – for indoor dining, fitness, entertainment and performance venues unless they received Johnson & Johnson’s single-dose vaccine. Corresponding photo ID will also be required for all attendees and will be checked before entry to the event. Proof of vaccination can be the physical CDC record card, a photo of the card, or any of the mobile apps, i.e., Excelsior, NYC Covid Safe, Clear, etc.

Details regarding proof of vaccination are being sent to registrants in advance of this event. If you have questions or concerns with regard to a ticket or table purchase for this award dinner, please contact our event manager via [email protected] or at 347-986-7488. We will continue to update this website in accordance with local, city, and state health protocols.

Established in 1995, the “Insurance Leader of the Year Award” has annually recognized the contributions of outstanding individuals whose leadership in the worldwide insurance and financial services industry set them apart from their peers.

In 2020, the Award Selection Committee named Tricia Griffith as their Honoree. Postponed by conditions limiting in-person celebration of Ms. Griffith’s award, the School invites the insurance and financial services industry to this long-awaited tribute event on January 19, 2022.
