The University is home to 17 Division I teams, giving you countless opportunities to cheer for the Red Storm. The Men’s Basketball team plays select home games at Madison Square Garden, and you can get up close to the action in the enthusiastic, court-level student section.

A New Home for Health Sciences and Nursing

Opening in Fall 2024, our St. Vincent Health Sciences Center will usher in a new era for health science education at St. John’s. This stunning addition to the Queens, NY, campus will be the permanent of home to existing programs, as well as our new Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. It will feature state-of-the-art simulation facilities, classrooms, collaborative spaces, and an outdoor terrace overlooking the Residence Village.

Carvens Lissaint ’14CPS

Taking to the stage eight times weekly at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, Carvens Lissaint ’14CPS plays George Washington in the international smash hit Hamilton. It was only a few years ago that he was pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree in Dramatic Arts, Film and Television at St. John’s University.
