From Student Worker to Doctoral Fellow: A McNair Scholar’s Path to Clinical Psychology

A short walk from St. John’s University’s Queens, NY, campus, the Center for Psychological Services serves the entire community as a mental health lifeline. The center also serves as the cornerstone for the Clinical Psychology and School Psychology doctoral programs. As a training clinic, the center supplements classroom instruction by giving students hands-on experience where they can put theory into practice under expert supervision.
