- Faculty Research Support
The library team strives to support faculty research as robustly as possible. We will be happy to work with a faculty member’s student Research Assistant for ongoing or large-scale research projects. We will also work directly with faculty members who have not hired a research assistant for smaller-scale requests, and regularly employ a library research assistant to help with faculty research. Because each research request is unique, we ask that you make an appointment with a member of the library reference team to discuss how we can best serve you. Please contact the reference librarians at [email protected] or by phone at 718-990-6651.
E-mail Reference Services for Law Faculty
You may email a reference request to [email protected]. We will generally respond within 48 hours excluding weekends or holidays. We will do our best to provide assistance in answering your question. Reference assistance via email is available to St. John's University Law School students and employees.
While we are happy to assist in planning research and identifying useful resources, we are unable to conduct extensive research or gather documents without a follow-up meeting. Some reference questions cannot be answered adequately via email. In that case, the responding librarian will indicate this and make other suggestions for assisting you.
