Additional Information for Incoming St. John's Law LL.M. Students:
Housing
St. John's Law is located in a quiet neighborhood in Queens about 30 minutes from Manhattan. Students are responsible for arranging their own housing, and most choose to live in private rental units in the area or elsewhere in New York City. There is also some housing on campus.
Students willing to share a room or apartment will have the most options, and those traveling with families and children should begin the housing search well before arriving for orientation and the start of classes.
To learn more about your housing options, please visit the Law School's Student Housing webpage.
Technology
In order to successfully participate in classes and other Law School events, and to complete school work, each student should have access to a personal computer, whether desktop or laptop. Students should also have a working camera to participate in sessions via video call. You can learn more about supported technology and university-sponsored discounts for some devices.
The best way for student to resolve technology issues, such as accessing St. John's email accounts or UIS, is to go to the University's IT support page. The page provides self-help articles for common problems. If you can't resolve the problem, click Your Tickets to request a new one. A help desk ticket will be created and a tech support representative will reply back as soon as possible. Please remember that responses will be delayed on nights and weekends.
Arriving on Campus
