The information below is very important, as it contains your upcoming enrollment timeline and item submission deadlines and requirements. Please disregard any information you may have already submitted.

It is important that you stay connected with this email address, as the University will be sending important enrollment information to this address. The Online Patient Portal (see “Medical Forms” below) and Online Placement Exam Platform (see “Placement Exams” below) will require this email address to complete as well. Generally the email address is issued within one week of the student submitting the $300 enrollment confirmation deposit.

The Office of Residence Life will contact students who plan to live on campus regarding next steps in the housing self-selection process. Please visit the Housing Selection Website for more information, dates and deadlines, frequently asked questions, housing selection tutorials, and more. The application process for housing begins with submitting a non-refundable $400 housing deposit and non-refundable $300 enrollment deposit. We will reach out to you within 2-3 business days after you deposit with instructions on accessing the Housing Portal. Students can submit the housing deposit by logging into their Student Portal

Immunization Forms

January 15, 2025
As per New York State Public Health Laws 2165 & 2167, all students must submit proof of immunization or immunity to measles, mumps, and rubella. In addition, students must submit proof of meningococcal vaccination or complete a meningitis declination form.

Students who are not in compliance with these university requirements and New York State laws will not be permitted to move into their residence hall and will not be able to attend classes. Download the forms here and submit the completed forms through the Medicat online portal. Acceptable forms of documentation and directions on how to access and upload forms to the Medicat Patient Portal can be found here.  Please note we are unable to accept these documents via mail, fax, or email.

Official SAT/ACT Test Scores

January 15, 2025
Should you need to submit official test scores, you can submit them in one of the following three ways. To determine if you need to submit official test scores, please log into your Online Student Portal.

  • Have your school counselor submit your official SAT/ACT scores directly to St. John’s via slate.org, or
  • For SAT only, you can request that the College Board (St. John's school code: 2799) submit your official scores directly to St. John’s, or
  • For ACT only, you can have the ACT Company St. John's school code: 2888) send you your official scores, then you can upload those to your Online Student Portal.

We require these to complete your enrollment at St. John’s. Failure to submit them may result in loss of any financial aid you have received. Further details can be found on Page 8 of the Undergraduate Bulletin.

Final Official High School Transcript

January 15, 2025
You can ensure submission by the above deadline by:

  • Transcript Request Form (PDF) Print, complete and submit to your guidance counselor BEFORE your last day of classes.

This is issued by your high school after the last day of classes. To be considered “final and official,” it must contain your date of graduation. We require this document to complete your enrollment at St. John’s, so failure to submit it may result in loss of any financial aid you have received.

Proof of high school graduation includes a final, high school transcript with date of graduation; a state-issued diploma; or the GED (General Education Diploma) or other state-approved equivalency assessment through TASC (Test Assessing Secondary Completion). In-state, out-of-state homeschool and online educated students must submit an official document from the state Department of Education or the superintendent of their school district that attests that the education is equivalent to a high school diploma or obtain a High School Equivalency diploma. Further details can be found on Page 8 of the Undergraduate Bulletin.
