Distinguished Faculty Award

Each year, the college will recognize one deserving faculty member for his/her distinguished teaching, scholarship and service. The recipient will have made a difference in student lives through personal commitment, fostered an attitude of critical inquiry, and supported the college’s commitment to educational excellence over a sustained period of time.

• A record of outstanding teaching both within and outside the classroom
• Ability to inspire independent and original thinking in students
• Demonstrated scholarly/professional contributions
• Service to the college that enhances the student experience
• Enthusiasm and vitality in learning and teaching
• Leadership (on-and/or off campus)
• A minimum of 10 years of service
