Message from the Dean
On behalf of the faculty, staff, and administration of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, I want to congratulate you on the completion of your educational experience here at St. John’s University. The completion of your rigorous Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Pharmacy, or Master’s program is a tremendous accomplishment, particularly in the midst of this public health crisis. I am so proud that you have persevered through it all and have attained your ultimate goal.
All of us have been affected by COVID-19 in ways that we could not have imagined. We pray that you, your family, and friends have not been dramatically impacted by this pandemic, but if you have been impacted, we hope that your situation is resolved quickly and safely.
Events like this are an opportunity to put our lives into perspective. Our experiences over the last few months have renewed our appreciation of our family, our health, and our career ambitions. Given our current and future circumstances, I cannot imagine a more compelling and satisfying career path for you as graduates. As you go forth, please remember, and hopefully cherish, your experience here at St. John’s University. We cherish our time with you and will certainly not forget you!
Congratulations, CPHS class of 2020!!
