As an Endowed Scholarship Recipient (ESR), you have the privilege of being in a cohort that has access to personalized professional development on campus, including events, activities, and workshops.
What is an Endowed Scholarship?
An Endowed Scholarship is a gift from a donor to be used for deserving students here at St. John’s.
Who are the donors?
Donors are usually friends and alumni of St. John’s. These donors are vested in your success as a student and want to help you achieve your goals!
Why was I selected?
Donors specify what criteria must be met in order to receive an Endowed Scholarship; it can be based on several factors, including major, intended career path, and/or community service. The financial aid office matched you with the Donor’s criteria, and that’s how you became an ESR!
What are some benefits of being an ESR?
In addition to your financial award, ESRs have access to professional development workshops as well as tickets to events with alumni and donors. As an ESR, you will be given opportunities to attend such events and network with St. John’s Alumni and donors.
