About Government Documents
The Queens Main Library Government Documents Collection is consistent with the Federal Depository Program guidelines. Government documents can be accessed freely online directly to the public without charge. You may also search for government documents in our library catalog. Additional electronic government resources are available. Please contact us if you have questions about finding and using electronic government documents.
Access
The public is welcome to use the Queens Main Library’s government document collections. A government issued photo ID must be presented at the Service Desk on the third floor in the library in St. Augustine Hall. Guest access does not confer library borrowing privileges. Guest access to the use of other library resources or databases may be restricted. Visitors must abide by the Libraries Community Norms. At busy times during the semester or where there are patrons waiting to use equipment or services, St. John’s current students will be given preference.
