St. John's University Libraries provide workshops in research and technology, and are free to employees and students at St. John's. Preregistration is encouraged.
Queens Library Research Workshops
Cover a broad range of topics, such as term paper research, citing sources, conducting literature reviews, and using Windows Movie Maker.
Staten Island Library Research Workshops
Cover topics such as Internet Research, Using Campusguides, and using RefWorks.
Queens Library and Technology Workshops
These workshops offer training on using various information technologies, such as wordpress, screencasting software, screencast-o-matic, glogster, and more.

Provides an overview of the research process, including choosing a topic, forming a thesis, finding and evaluating information, and citing information and avoiding plagiarism.
