Looking to make a difference at St. John’s University? Here’s a great way to do it!
Named in honor of John Loughlin, the first Bishop of Brooklyn, The Loughlin Society is St. John’s leadership giving society. Its members want to ensure that St. John’s will always be able to provide deserving students with a superior, affordable education. Members of The Loughlin Society are the University’s most generous donors. Their gifts support such important priorities as student scholarships, academic programming, upgraded campus facilities, enhanced technology and faculty research.
You can become a member of The Loughlin Society by contributing gifts totaling $1,000 or more toward any University fund between June 1 and May 31. You’ll be joining an exclusive group of over 1,900 alumni and friends who have chosen to support St. John’s in a very special way.
Recent St. John’s graduates are invited to participate in The Loughlin Society at reduced giving criteria, beginning at $150, through membership in The Loughlin Society Associates Program.
The Loughlin Society Associate Program was established to recognize the significant contributions made by recent graduates. Membership is based on charitable giving and the number of years since graduation.
Alumni within 1-4 years of graduation who contribute $150 or above
Alumni within 5-7 years of graduation who contribute $300 or above
Alumni within 8-9 years of graduation who contribute $600 or above
Members of The Loughlin Society Associate Program benefit from being part of a strong network of successful St. John's alumni with professional connections in New York City and throughout the nation. In addition to special recognition in the annual Honor Roll of Donors, Loughlin Associates receive VIP seating at on-campus events and invitations to special events held throughout the year.
