About Mary Angello, Dancy Dynamics
For the past 42 years, Mary Angello has been the Artistic Director/Owner of Dance Dynamics, an accredited dance studio in Jackson Heights, NY, dedicated to teaching dance to children and adults of all ages. She has also choreographed and stage directed bi-annual themed dance recitals. Mary's ballet training has been both home and abroad under the intense curriculum of RAD (Royal Academy of Dance of London), Imperial Society of London, and ABT in which she holds certifications for teacher training. Mary has also enhanced her dance education with the Cecchetti method of ballet and expanded to different genres of dance such as tap, jazz, and lyrical. She has had the opportunity to study with some famous choreographers/performers such as Finis Jhung, Luigi (father of jazz) Michelle Dorrance, and Savion Glover. 

About Meredith Amato
Meredith Amato is a Nia instructor. Meredith believes it is the birthright of every woman and EVERYBODY to feel, trust their sensations, and move through life in an integrated, authentic way, and THAT is the key for women to truly access their power and infinite potential.

Meredith uses her extensive training in dance, yoga, and the Nia Technique to create embodied experiences for women that are fun, empowering, and grounding. We encourage you to experience it first hand.

About Alex Vasallo
Born and raised in NYC, Alexandra Vasallo has been a dance educator for over 25 years. She has served students from pre-school to high school in dance studios, public and charter schools, and art institutions throughout the five boroughs. She is currently a teaching artist for New York City Ballet's Education Department and The Brooklyn Conservatory of Music's Music Partners program. She has danced with many independent choreographers over the years in addition to choreographic, producing, and performing her own work. Alexandra holds a BA in Dance and Psychology from Queens College/CUNY and an MA from Teachers College/Columbia University. She also holds a Certificate of Completion from the Dance Education Lab (DEL) and is a certified holistic health practitioner from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN).

About Matthew Kirschenheiter, The School of Education, Class of 2021, Member of the St. John's Dance Team
Matthew Kirschenheiter is a senior member of St. John's 2020 National-Champion Dance Team. Matthew plans to graduate from St. John's University's The School of Education this May with a degree in Childhood Education. Matthew embodies the Red Storm spirit and embraces his leadership role as a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). He also earned a spot on the Dean's Honor List for the last three years at St. John's.

About Robert B. Moy, Esq. '88L, Partner, Forchelli, Deegan & Terrana
Robert B. Moy is a Partner at Forchelli, Deegan, and Terrana in the Tax, Trusts and Estate, and Corporate practice groups of the Firm. Prior to joining the Firm, he was a founding member of Bennett & Moy, LLP, where he practiced in the areas of corporate law, asset and estate planning, and real estate. Mr. Moy counseled his clients on various matters: from mergers and acquisitions to establishing new businesses, negotiating and drafting shareholder, operating, financing, employment, merger, acquisition, licensing and buy-sell agreements, represented clients in the purchase and sale of real estate, and drafting complex and simple trusts and wills.

Before forming Bennett & Moy, he was Of Counsel to Battle Fowler, LLP in New York, where his corporate and real estate expertise included complex commercial transactions, project and structured financing, and securities law. He worked on several multimillion-dollar transactions— including real estate investment trusts, international project financings, and Regulation S offerings. Mr. Moy was also Of Counsel to Caesar and Napoli, where he headed the corporate and estate planning departments of the firm, focusing on general corporate law, real estate, and estate planning.

He previously worked in the Hong Kong office of Fulbright and Jaworski, LLP, where he worked on several multimillion-dollar commercial transactions—including the establishment of a number of offshore funds. Mr. Moy commenced his legal career at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Leiby & MacRae in New York, where he worked on insurance regulatory and coverage matters, mergers and acquisitions, as well as several complex real estate transactions and estate matters. He represented a number of prominent international insurance carriers in matters involving insurance and reinsurance coverage.

Mr. Moy is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law, J.D., Georgetown University Law Center, LL.M. in International Law, and the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School, B.S.

What does this mean for a Biden presidency? How will Biden govern in the post-Trump era? Join Dr. Diane Heith, Professor of Government and Politics, as she explores the Trump legacy for the institution of the presidency.

Diane J. Heith is a Professor of Government and Politics at St. John’s University. She is the author of several works on the presidency, public opinion, campaigns and elections, and the media including, The End of the Rhetorical Presidency? Public Leadership in the Trump Era (Routledge 2020); The Presidential Road Show: Public Leadership in an Era of Party Polarization and Media Fragmentation (Routledge 2013), and Polling to Govern: Public Opinion and Presidential Leadership (Stanford 2004). She is co-author of Presidents and the American Presidency ( Oxford 2018) and the 2016 Presidential Election Guide (Oxford 2016) and co-editor of In the Public Domain: Presidents and the Challenges of Public Leadership (SUNY 2005). Her work has appeared in The New York Times, Public Opinion Quarterly, Presidential Studies Quarterly, Political Science Quarterly, The Journal of Health Politics, Policy and Law, The Journal of Women, Politics and Policy, White House Studies and Congress and the Presidency.

 

The Catholic Response to Racism
