On-campus visits are back!

Student Ambassadors will provide guided tours of our indoor and outdoor facilities.

When you arrive to campus, you must enter through Gate 1 on Utopia Parkway and check in with Public Safety. After parking, please walk to the Welcome Center to meet your assigned Student Ambassador. He or she will help you check in using the QR Code provided and your campus experience will begin!

STATEN ISLAND CAMPUS | View Calendar for Availability and Registration

When you arrive to the Staten Island campus, please check in with Public Safety so the officer can direct you to parking. Your Student Ambassador will meet you there and begin your campus tour experience.

  • In-person tours allow for the student and a maximum of two family members. 
  • All parties must wear masks and adhere to any additional New York state PPE requirements
  • All parties must complete the wellness survey prior to arrival 
  • Any states on the current quarantine list are not permitted to attend. Those committing to travel plans should use discretion. 
  • All visitors are asked to arrive on time for their scheduled visit, as a Student Ambassador will be specifically assigned to each family.
  • We will not be able to accommodate walk-ins

We are pleased to now offer self-guided tours for guests who have the sense of adventure! The starting point is the Welcome Center on the Queens campus, where guests scan the available QR code to get started.

Guests will follow the standard in-person tour stops, which you can see on this map.

Additionally, guests will access the corresponding video that goes with each stop! The self-guided tour video chapters are easily accessible on our YouTube channel.

Please note that, while guests are taking a self-guided tour, facemask and social distancing regulations still apply. All guests are encouraged to complete the brief wellness survey prior to arrival to campus.

Fall 2021 Engagement Grant

While it looks a bit different this year, event season is still upon us for our Queens and Staten Island campuses! And, to celebrate our high school seniors, we are pleased to announce this year’s Engagement Grant in the amount of $500!

Current high school seniors and transfer students who attend a St. John’s event this academic year and go on to enroll full-time at St. John’s University in Fall 2021 will receive a one-time tuition grant of $500 toward the 2021-2022 academic year.

Qualifying events must take place between August 1, 2020 - May 1, 2021 and include:

  • Open House

  • Virtual Information Session & Campus Tour

  • On-campus Tour (if available)

  • Academic Webinar or Chat

  • Accepted Student Event
