International students who wish to spend a semester at St. John’s University earning credits towards their degree at their home institution may do so in the fall or spring semester. With over 100 majors and programs, there are many courses available each semester, and most are open to visiting students. While studying at St. John’s students live in University housing, allowing them to be immersed in the US university experience.
International visiting students must complete the International Nonmatriculated and Visiting Student application (PDF) and provide the required documentation listed. Students will be required to meet prerequisites for any course with prerequisites listed.
Students who come from St. John’s partner schools may be eligible for a tuition discount. Please see our list of visiting student partner schools below:
- Centro de Estudios Superiores Universitarios de Galicia (CESUGA)
- East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL)
- Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS)
- National University of Kaohsiung (NUK)
