Objectives

The doctoral program prepares broadly trained psychological professionals, competent in a variety of psychodiagnostic and intervention procedures. Research competence is essential to the functioning of a professional psychologist. Graduates of the program will have demonstrated the ability to understand and interpret the research of others as well as to design and execute relevant research of their own.

The overarching goal of the program is to provide our students with the training needed to implement evidence-based practices in a variety of settings and develop the capacities to evaluate and create new knowledge relevant to the practice of clinical psychology.
