Prior to registration, Tobin students should be considering and applying to courses with global opportunities. For many of these courses, faculty or staff must approve applications before a course will allow a student to register.
First year students: Global Passport classes are full-semester courses in New York with a week in Rome or Paris at the end of the semester. These are open to incoming Fall 2026 students for their first two semester and external transfers for their first two semester. Any Transfers who enrolled in January 2026 is still eligible for Fall 2026. See full list here.
Sophomores and Juniors: Consider a full Fall "Semester Program" in Paris or Rome - or take the Tobin business-specific Western Europe 3-City Semester only offered in the Fall). Find details here.
Graduating Fast-Track Seniors, and Graduate Students: Tobin has a special summer course in Rome. International Business Law (Law 652) or International Management (MGT 601). See details and application links here.

Q: What will my advisor do after reviewing?
A. Approve and send you an email with your PIN number.
B. Approve with some notes and recommendations and still give you the PIN.
C. Request a meeting due to further discuss.
Q: Am I required to study abroad?
While we highly recommend every Tobin student study aboard, only International Management Students are required to have an international experience course.
