This annual tradition honors visionaries whose creativity, leadership, and influence continue to inspire the next generation of industry leaders.

Tiffany Rolfe, Chair and Global Chief Creative Officer at R/GA, was honored as the third inductee into the Collins College of Professional Studies' Ad Legend Series at The Advertising Club of New York. The event, hosted in partnership with the Ad Club and supported by Advisory Board Member Gina Grillo ’86C and the Dr. E. Lawrence Deckinger Family Foundation, drew students, faculty, alumni, and industry professionals for a night of networking, film, and conversation.

Advertising Legend Jerry Della Femina Celebrated at St. John’s University

St. John’s University hosted a celebration of advertising legend Jerry Della Femina, where students, faculty, and industry guests enjoyed a documentary screening, a lively Q&A moderated by Rich Russo, and personal stories from Mr. Della Femina about his Brooklyn upbringing, career milestones, and the timeless value of creativity. Sponsored by the Dr. E. Lawrence Deckinger Family Foundation, the event also honored outstanding students with awards in advertising and public relations and highlighted the University’s ongoing commitment to connecting students with industry pioneers.

Ammirati & Puris Donate Iconic Advertising Archive to St. John’s University

St. John’s University honored advertising legends Ralph Ammirati and Martin Puris at the Design Factory in St. Augustine Hall, celebrating their donation of the Ammirati & Puris archive to the Collins College of Professional Studies. Best known for iconic campaigns like BMW’s “Ultimate Driving Machine”, Club Med’s “Antidote for Civilization,” and UPS’s “Tightest Ship in the Shipping Business,” the creative duo chose St. John’s after years of consideration, citing its motivated students and innovative learning spaces.
