Student Publications

There is a long tradition of student publications at St. John’s University, including many newspapers. The Torch was the first student newspaper, founded in 1925. Some of the major newspapers include:

Many newsletters, journals, and magazines are published by St. John’s University students. The longest running literary and arts magazine is Sequoya, founded in 1934.
