St. John’s has partnered with CCC Verify, a part of Experian, to provide all employment and income verifications at no cost to employees. The information is available instantly, 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. 

Mortgages, car loans, student loans, credit cards, new employers, landlords, public assistance, and many others all require verification of your employment. Our new process provides the fastest and most secure way to verify your employment at St. John’s University. We only provide dates of employment and wage history to authorized third parties. 

Features of our employment verification process include:

  • View verifier activity
  • View your free, annual employment verification for accuracy 

For Employees

To get started:

  1. Go to https://cccverify.com
  2. Click “Get Started” under the employee section
  3. Enter your PIN (Last 4 digits of SSN)
  4. Enter your basic information & email address

If someone is requesting proof of employment, provide them with the following:

If salary information is being requested, you will need to provide a Salary Key which is a personal code that can be entered to receive salary information. This allows the employee/former employee to have control over third party access to salary information. Employees/former employees can refer to the Employee User Guide to obtain a Salary Key.

You can also print an employment letter from the employee section of the website.

For Employers/Verifiers

To obtain proof of employment and/or income on an employee:

1.    Access CCC verify at https://cccverify.com 

  • First time users will need to set up an account as a verifier providing the required information when prompted. It only takes a moment to set up an account. Please refer to the Verifier User Guide for detailed instructions.
    • Note: You must have employee authorization to access the information you seek and be credentialed by CCC Verify staff.

2.    Enter the  employee’s social security number

3.    Your report will be displayed instantly. You will be able to download a copy for your records.
