The Rittenberg Law Library offers limited access to individuals not affiliated with the St. John's University School of Law. A complete list of those authorized to enter the library is available from our Library Policies page. Guest access is not permitted during final-exam periods. Please consult the Academic Calendar for final exam dates.

The Law Library catalog provides information about the print, microform, and digital materials held in the Rittenberg Law Library.
Government Documents
The Rittenberg Law Library is a New York State, United States, and United Nations Depository. Access to government documents is available by appointment. Please see our Government Documents collection page for more information.
Guest Wireless
Wireless access is available for guests. Please contact the Law Information Technology Department for assistance.

Online Resources
Access to the physical library spaces does not grant access to digital or electronic resources, equipment, or services. Access to library-licensed electronic resources is limited to current St. John’s students, faculty, administrators, and staff and/or those who have both an active St. John's email address and sign-on credentials.
Special Collections & Archives
Guests should contact the Circulation Desk to make an appointment to review the library's special collections and archives. Appointments will be scheduled based on library staffing and availability.
