The Global Entrepreneurship Development Program is a collection of short term and summer programs for undergraduate and graduate students, where they can develop their own entrepreneurial ventures or businesses, enhance them in collaboration with international partners and pitch them in International Pitch Competitions.

European Innovation Academy in Rome
Rome: July 15 – 28, 2026 (Online: July 29 – August 4, 2026)
Build your entrepreneurial mindset and startup skills while standing out from the rest. Selected students receive $3,000 in program registration and housing support and can compete for three investment awards totaling €100K.
Open to all continuing undergraduate and graduate students, the program features a 10-day summer course in Rome, industry mentorship, cultural immersion, opportunities for academic credit, global networking, and hands-on experience in developing startup ideas into Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).
Cybersecurity in a Global Context in Rome
Rome - Spring Break 2026 (March 2-6)
The Cybersecurity in a Global Context experience is a leading spring break undergraduate enrichment program held in Rome, Italy, during spring break, as part of a 3-credit, semester-long course in Queens. During the program, students will stay at the Rome Campus of St. John’s University — your St. John's home away from home — with full campus amenities. Students will have an opportunity to meet with their Italian peers and learn about international cybersecurity topics.
