United States Tennis Association Billie Jean King National Tennis Center

In this episode of In and around Queens, we switch it up and head to the tennis courts at the United States Tennis Association Billie Jean King National Tennis Center (USTANTC), home of the US Open. How awesome is it that one of the top sports and entertainment events in the world is hosted just a few miles away from our Queens campus in Corona Park?

We had the privilege to meet Daniel Zausner, the center’s Chief Operating Officer, who shared some insight for those Johnnies looking to jump-start their careers in sports. We also got an inside look into where some of the most talented athletes to date have made history.

Winter is almost here, but you can still grab your racquet and throw down like Serena Williams or Naomi Osaka on one of 12 indoor courts. Take a look and see why this venue needs to be on your bucket list. Plus, we’ll let you in on a little secret: The first week of the US Open is free. See you there!
