Vincentian Convocation

The Vincentian Convocation celebrates and reflects upon our Vincentian mission—the living heritage that has guided St. John’s University for more than 155 years and continues to inspire us today. The ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. in St. Thomas More Church on the Queens campus. During the ceremony, we will recognize the outstanding individuals among us who, each in their own way, exemplify St. Vincent’s legacy. We will also hear from Dr. Jimmy Walters, who will deliver the Vincentian Social Justice Lecture entitled "Be Vincentian: Be a Healer".
