- Vincentian Convocation
The Vincentian Convocation celebrates and reflects upon our Vincentian mission—the living heritage that guides St. John’s University today as it has for the past 153 years. The ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at 4 p.m. in St. Thomas More Church on the Queens campus. During the ceremony, we will recognize the outstanding individuals among us who, each in their own sphere, exemplify St. Vincent’s legacy. This year, Jennie Weiss Block, O.P., D.Min., will deliver the Vincentian Social Justice Lecture, “In the Company of the Poor: St. Vincent de Paul and Paul Farmer, M.D., Ph.D.”.
