St. John's University Laptop Support Center

Students who participate in the Academic Computing Initiative Laptop Program are eligible for support from two of our full service Certified Laptop Support Centers. 

Laptop Support Center

St. John’s University provides onsite support to those students who have chosen to opt in to the Academic Computing Initiative Laptop Program, as well as to the employees and faculty who have been issued a University laptop.  There are two locations in which support can be found, on the Queens campus, and Staten Island campus.

Queens Campus - Laptop Support Center

On the Queens campus, in Sullivan Hall, support to all of our users are provided on an appointment-only basis. Due to time constraints of appointments, we are unable to accept walk-ins. In order to make an appointment:

  1. Login to MySJU.
  2. Select “Request Service / Training Appointment”
  3. Select Laptop Support Center
  4. Select the reason for your visit.
  5. Choose a date and time from the available list.
  6. Complete the contact page, including keeping your SJU email address as part of the contact.

     *Please note, appointments requested with a non-SJU email address cannot be confirmed. Due to time constraints and appointment volume, if you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled. You will have to reschedule your appointment.


Staten Island -  Laptop Support Center
Staten Island Laptop Support Center is located in DaSilva Hall. Support is provided on a walk-in basis, during our normal business hours:

Monday-Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.

If you have a laptop as part of the Academic Computing Initiative Laptop program, please see all of our documentation to help you with your laptop.  For your convenience, they are available for your phone in the St. John’s University Connect app by Involvio located in the Google Play Store for Android phones, as well as the iOS Apple App Store for the iPhone.

  1. Login with your MySJU credentials.
  2. Tap the CAMPUS icon at the bottom of your screen.
