Prepare for Graduation: Checklist for Graduates, Class of 2021
1. Check with your advisor to confirm your eligibility for your conferral of degree in May 2021 and to participate in the July 2021 in-person ceremonies.
Eligible students are those students who have been awarded degrees in September 2020 or January 2021, and those students who are expected to receive their degrees in May 2021. If you have any questions regarding your eligibility to graduate, please contact your dean's office.
Your diploma will not be ordered until you have submitted your application. If you have any questions regarding orders, please contact the Office of the Registrar.
3. If you plan to participate in the in-person ceremonies in July, RSVP through the MarchingOrder site and order your academic attire.
Registration through MarchingOrder will close on Friday, June 4, 2021, 11 a.m. EST. Please check your St. John's email for your invite to RSVP.
Starting Friday, May 7, until June 15, you can order attire from Herff Jones.
Academic attire is mandatory for attendance in the in-person ceremonies.
4. Confirm you can access to your St. John's email account; review your academic information; and update your personal contact information on UIS.

Review your transcript for accuracy of grade changes, transfer credits, etc.
Check your account for holds (parking tickets, library fines, etc.) and clear holds with Bursar's Office
Confirm and update your mailing address, review your home address and contact information, and update your personal email
