On August 26, 2025, St. John’s University and Infosys formalized a partnership at the Astor Place campus in Manhattan to advance innovation in risk management and actuarial science. The collaboration includes a customized executive education program for Infosys teams, as well as joint research and thought leadership in risk modeling, pricing strategies, and regulatory compliance.

The signing ceremony, held in the historic Davis Insurance Library, brought together senior leadership, including Infosys’s Kannan Amaresh, Deepak Subbramaniam, and Vilas Shah, with Tobin Dean Maciek Nowak, Greenberg School Executive Director Hank Watkins, and Director of Executive Education Cory Renzella.

Advancing Insurance Innovation

Through this partnership, Infosys and St. John’s will co-develop executive education, research, and thought leadership to address the evolving needs of the insurance industry. This work will equip professionals with advanced skills in risk modeling, pricing, regulatory compliance, and the use of emerging technologies – supporting both immediate challenges and long-term innovation.

The partnership builds on the Greenberg School of Risk Management’s global reputation for excellence in risk and insurance education and the Tobin Center for Executive Education’s expertise in custom corporate learning. Together, they combine academic rigor with practical application to strengthen the insurance ecosystem worldwide.
