The Career Development Office is here to assist you with discovering your career goals, identifying a path to achieving those goals, and supporting your job search. This page contains numerous resources to aid in your job search. Talk with your CDO counselor to identify ways of using these resources as part of your overall career development strategy.
You can create your own career path by taking advantage of the Law School's resources. Since not all law students know what type of law they want to practice, we provide many opportunities for you to explore and identify your particular interests in the law.
The CDO Handbook provides a comprehensive overview of the St. John’s Law CDO’s policies and procedures.
Begin by ensuring your resume is in order, you have an effective cover letter, and you have sharpened your interviewing skills.
There are numerous resources on the web to assist you with your job search. Some are password protected—contact your career counselor for the login information. For a more comprehensive listing, please access the Guide to Online Resources, located in the Career Development Office and the Resources section of Simplicity.
