Thomas J. Rossi is a partner in the law firm of Rossi & Crowley, LLP concentrating his practice on ADR, construction and design, real estate and commercial litigation matters. He has tried dozens of jury and bench trials in the State and Federal Courts, in arbitration proceedings and before administrative tribunals involving construction and design disputes, real estate title and other real estate related matters, employment, trusts and estates, and general commercial matters.    

Professor Rossi is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. He has been a member of the American Arbitration Association’s Construction and Commercial Panels of Arbitrators for more than 30 years and has presided over many lengthy and complex arbitration proceedings. He is also a long-standing member of the AAA’s Commercial and Construction Mediation panels and the mediation panel of the New York Supreme Court’s Commercial Division. He has mediated several hundred commercial disputes.  

Throughout his professional life, he has been active in community and bar groups as a member of the New York City Community Planning Board 5 (Land Use Committee), Past-President and current director of the Columbian Lawyers Association, and a member of the New York State Bar Association's committees on Commercial and Federal Litigation and Alternate Disputes Resolution. He also served two terms as a member of the Appellate Division’s Attorney Grievance Committee for the Second, Eleventh and Thirteenth Judicial Districts.
