Why Mosaics...

The Tobin College of Business is driven by a service mindset determined to better our surrounding communities.

Our mosaic pop-up projects are respectfully designed to help communities to celebrate their triumphs and commemorate those that positively impacted our lives. Collaborating between artistry, marketing, and management, these programs are intended to bring joy and creativity to significant moments.

The St. John's students that coordinate these programs gain powerful skills in research, production, marketing, listening, empathy, networking, and storytelling. To volunteer to help run an art-build please click here. To register to attend an art-build, please go to the designated place below.

Our Mosaic Projects

Our mosaic projects are designed to meet the needs of various communities, specifically in locations where we may make the largest impact. Please review our current offerings with links to frequently asked questions.

The Mourning Bar

Join us in honoring some of the most iconic contributors to our society. The program combines the "Irish Wake" tradition with a therapeutic art-build, asking participants to paint one tile in our 169-piece mosaic portrait. Staying true to our university's mission, we strive to create free and accessible service to communities.
