Julia Varvaro ’18TCB, ’20GCPS, ’24DProf is taking her career to new heights at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and as an Adjunct Professor at St. John’s.

A FEMA Program Analyst, Dr. Varvaro also helps to elevate the next generation of Homeland Security majors by sharing her real-world wisdom in the classroom.

A team captain and BIG EAST Conference Scholar-Athlete at St. John’s, Dr. Stepan is now a hand surgeon at the University of Chicago Medicine.
