About Us
The volunteer group strives to keep Staten Island alumni connected to the University while also furthering the Vincentian ideals and mission upon which St. John’s was founded.
Goals
We need your help as Staten Island Alumni to re-connect our fellow graduates to support programs and key initiatives such as the Staten Island Alumni Golf Outing in September, Homecoming Weekend in October, the annual Staten Island Scholarship Reception in April, and Reunion Weekend in April. These events support the Staten Island Campus Student Scholarships.

The St. John’s University Staten Island campus was established in 1971. It was home to the former Notre Dame College of Staten Island, a small independent college for women established in the 1930s that consolidated with St. John’s University in 1970, located at 300 Howard Avenue, Staten Island, New York. In August 2022, the University announced the phasing out of academic operations at St. John’s University’s Staten Island campus. To honor the rich 50-year legacy of St. John’s presence on Staten Island, the University has established the St. John’s University Staten Island Heritage Endowment Fund. This fund shall provide financial assistance to future Staten Island students with financial needs who study at St. John’s Queens campus, beginning Fall of 2024.
