St. John’s University to Sign Transfer Articulation Agreement with Queensborough Community College

Agreement Creates Local and Seamless Pathway to St. John’s University

At a formal ceremony to be held at St. John’s University’s Queens campus on Friday, September 8 at 10:00 a.m., St. John’s University will sign an articulation agreement with Queensborough Community College that will create a seamless transfer process for students from Queensborough to St. John’s.

The new articulation agreement between the two institutions provides nearly 20 curriculum “maps” that will guide Queensborough Community College students as they plan to enter St. John’s University.  In addition, St. John’s will provide a $17,000 transfer scholarship to students who will study at the Queens campus and who meet specific academic requirements.

This mutually beneficial academic agreement supports St. John's strategic priorities of ensuring student success and expanding community partnerships. Enhancing access and affordability to higher education is a shared goal of St. John’s University and Queensborough Community College.  This agreement will further that goal.  The agreement between the two institutions will provide students from the region with access to a high-quality, affordable advanced education.

The agreement takes effect immediately after it is signed on September 8, 2017.
