St. John’s University’s new Long Island Graduate Center will officially open its doors on August 17 with a Dedication, at which the space will be blessed. The Dedication will be followed by a ceremonial ribbon cutting and a reception. Tours of the new space will also be offered. The Center, centrally located at 120 Commerce Drive in Hauppauge, NY, offers quality graduate programs for those enrolled in The School of Education and St. John’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.

The 11,000-square-foot facility includes six state-of-the-art classrooms, video-equipped conference rooms for interactive learning, offices for full-time faculty based on-site, student gathering spaces and an area for special events hosted by the University and its educational partners on Long Island.

Through The School of Education, students at the center can choose from two doctoral programs, nine advanced certificates, and 10 master’s-level specializations in four academic departments: curriculum and instruction, education specialties, counselor education and administration and instructional leadership. Additionally, The Peter J. Tobin College of Business will begin offering an MBA and an MS in Accounting at the Center starting in the fall of 2018.
