Graduate students from the M.S. in International Communication attended the International Council for Small Business 2017 Academy in Buenos Aires, Argentina and competed in their business idea pitch competition.
When six St. John’s undergraduates joined Konrad Tuchscherer, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Director of Africana Studies, on a two-week trip through Cameroon in May, they not only got an inside look at the country of more than 23 million, they saw firsthand the benefits of experiential learning.
As six St. John’s University students ascended the 6,500 foot Mount Mbapit in Cameroon this past summer, they laughed recalling the requirement to train with intense cardio in the SJU Fitness Center before joining the study abroad trip.
